01
Start with the service and its users
A discussion should begin with a public-service problem, the people affected, and the institution’s operating context. Data availability, existing workflows, access requirements, and the capacity to maintain a solution are part of that conversation. A demonstration alone cannot establish public-service readiness.
02
Possible collaboration formats
Potential activities include capability-building sessions, research exchange, discovery work, or a carefully scoped pilot. Any collaboration would depend on institutional approval, applicable procurement processes, and an agreed scope. This page does not indicate an appointment, endorsement, or awarded government contract.
03
Design for accountability
A proposal should explain human oversight, accessibility, information handling, evaluation, and the responsibilities of the operating team. Where technology informs consequential decisions, establish how people can review the output and how concerns will be raised within the institution’s processes.
