Recognition for access to learning
Data Sorcerers was included in the nominations for the PKB Rising Changemaker Award 2025 announced on 21 July in Jakarta. The organizer’s announcement used the name “Data Sorcerer” and highlighted a community preparing Indonesian AI and data-science talent through real projects, open to people from different backgrounds.
Announced ahead of PKB’s 27th anniversary, the initiative covered STEAM, entrepreneurship, and environmental work. It brought attention to young people and organizations contributing to their communities.
A milestone for the community
The nomination places accessible technical learning within a wider conversation about social contribution. For Data Sorcerers, it is a public record of recognition for the community’s project-based approach.
PKB outlined mentoring and public exposure for nominees, with a recipient announcement scheduled for 22 July. Its 21 July statement documents the nomination stage of that process.
